Len Fortune Letter to Dr. Lachemi

Dear Dr. Lachemi,

Hope all is well, I know, you thought you heard the last of me, sorry.

I’ve attached a 100-page illustrated e-mail (PDF) with the hopes that you or your staff will take time to at least scan it. It contains certain points which I think will be of interest if TMU wants to stay abreast of the Egerton Ryerson story.

I apologize to you in advance for my bluntness, and in turn for my critique of yours
and your senior staff’s performance, 2021-23, but it’s something I had to do in memory of an innocent man and a great Canadian … I cc this e-mail to a few interested parties …

Thoughts By Lynn McDonald.
People at the old Ryerson University accused Egerton Ryerson of being a "colonizer," and that was against "our values." But he was born in Ontario, near Long Point, Lake Erie.

Ryerson had NO connection with the harmful system brought in after his death, but instead supported the voluntary, bilingual (Ojibway and English) schools.
